Lash Lifts

A lash lift and tint will curl and darken your lashes. The whole process makes your lashes look longer and fuller without using any extensions. It's perfect for those who want their natural lashes to pop.

This is especially great for people with lighter-colored lashes who want that extra definition without having to put on mascara every day.

Before Your Appointment

- Thoroughly remove all eye make up with an oil-free cleanser before your appointment. We suggest cleaning your lash line at least two times before your appointment to make that they are free of any makeup residue. There is makeup remover and lash wash in our bathroom. If your lashes are dirty, we will have to take the time during your appointment to clean them before starting to apply lash extensions. Dirty lashes = less lashing time.

- Avoid caffeine the day of your appointment. Caffeine can make your eyes twitch, which makes it difficult to safely apply lash extensions.

- Arrive on time. Plan some extra travel time in case you run in to traffic. If you are late to your appointment, this time is deducted from your appointment time.

- Keep talking and movement to a minimum so that the lash  artist can properly perform your lash appointment.

- Bring headphones if you'd like to listen to your own music or podcasts.

- Be prepared to keep your eyes closed for the duration of the appointment.

- Use the restroom before your appointment. If you need to use the restroom during your appointment, we will have to spend time taking off the items we use for application during lashing, then reapply the items, which will take time away from your appointment.

- Turn your phone on silent. Let your loved ones know that you won't be able to answer the phone or respond to texts for the duration of your appointment.

- It is recommended that you remove your contact lenses before your appointment.

- Due to health and safety concerns, guests, kids and pets will not be allowed to come to lash appointments.

- Please don't chew gum during your appointment.

Lash Extensions Aftercare

Now that you have your lash extensions, let's make them last.

 Use oil-free makeup remover. We recommend using micellar water.

- Pay special attention to your lash line when removing makeup.

- Gently clean your lashes with a cleanser, brush, and rinse bottle.  These can be purchased at your appointment. 

- After cleansing your lashes, gently pat them dry with a VIVA brand paper towel or blow dry them with a blow dryer on a cool setting held at arm's length. A small, hand-held fan is also a good option for drying your lashes.

- Brush lashes twice a day with the wand provided to you at your appointment. Do not over brush them, as this can cause them to fall off prematurely.

- Sleep on your back or on your side with lashes off the pillow. A special sleeping mask that protects your lashes can be purchased.

- Schedule regular touch-up appointments (fills) every 2-3 weeks.

- Don't tan or spray tan 48 - 72 hours after application.

- Don't use mascara on your lashes.

- Don't perm or curl your lashes.

- Don't rub your eyes, or pull or tug on your lashes.

- Avoid saunas and hot steam (including facials) while wearing extensions.

- Avoid letting water from your shower head run directly onto your lashes.

- Do not use eyeliner pencils - use an oil-free felt or pen tip only.

- Do not use cotton balls or pads with loose fibers that can catch on your lash extensions.

- NEVER attempt to remove your lash extensions - they must be professionally removed.

Lash Lift Aftercare

Stay Away From Water
For the first 24 to 48 hours after a lash lift, avoid water and steam. Moisture can relax the lift. Activities to avoid include showering, bathing, swimming, sitting in a sauna, or using any appliance like dishwashers or stoves that may radiate hot steam.

No Stomach Sleeping
Avoid sleeping on your stomach. If you rest with your face pressed into a pillow or mattress, your lashes may change direction or shape.

Don't Poke or Prod
We understand. The urge to touch newly lifted lashes is intense! Too much poking and prodding can irritate the eye area and lead to wonky, uneven lashes. The occasional gentle touch is okay, but do not roughly touch your eyes.

Avoid Skincare & Makeup
Avoid makeup removers in the first 48 hours. They may strip the tint or disturb the lash lift. For 24 to 48 hours, your client will need to steer clear of most skincare and makeup products. Don’t allow shampoo, creams, face wash, or mascara any where near your lashes. After 24 to 48 hours, you can wear all the makeup you want and resume your normal skincare routine.

Book another lash lift 4-6 weeks after your initial appointment.
Your lash lift will last about 4-6 weeks, and your tint can last up to 2 weeks. You can book a lash tint in between your lash lift appointments to maintain the darker look of your lashes.
